Key characteristics
The ATEX Directive in its standard EN-60027-2 requires users to check / recalibrate the equipment at regular intervals:
"For new fixed applications it would be prudent to perform these procedures frequently at the beginning (perhaps weekly), then increasing the time intervals (perhaps monthly) as confidence in the installation increases, depending on the maintenance records. For portable equipment, field testing (response check) or recalibration will be frequently performed; on unfamiliar, difficult situations or when the equipment is not used frequently, this should be done just before use. "
The Sensotran gases are specially designed to perform these functions in all our equipment, selecting different gases and ranges, also having multiple mixtures for verification and calibration of equipment with a single bottle. For calibrations without calibration station, we also have fixed fixed flow regulators and flow regulators on demand.
