30/04/2010 - SENSOTRAN has finished the Nano2Hybrids european project

SENSOTRAN has successfully completed the sponsored No2hybrids project within the European Framework Programme STREP file number 033311. We have fulfilled the initial objectives among which was to obtain a low cost sensor selective to benzene and sensitivity down to 25 ppb. This was achieved by a sensor based on multi wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT). As a result of more than three years of investigation SENSOTRAN has presented a prototype that was very highly qualified by the Community Representative, present in the final project meeting held at the SENSOTRAN headquarter late March. With this sensor, SENSOTRAN has demonstrated its ability to develop an innovative product that will revolutionize the gas detection market in the coming years.
